It’s a joyful occasion when the first draft of a new novel is complete. Especially, if that particular story is ahead of schedule. However, my experience of writing previous books in the series is that fine-tuning plays a major role. A spy fantasy thriller set in 1962, it includes a well-known character from book 1.

(An influence for my third novel, Awakening) Working for a well-known brewer as a representative, I relocated to Aberdeen then Glasgow.
