From Monday 18 November to Sunday 24 November, literary events will take place all around Scotland. As for The Time Jiigsaw novels, author talks will take place in two former Scottish royal burghs. One in Angus, and the other in East Lothian. Details to follow soon.

Before a talk at Annan Library on Monday, an author visit to picturesque Arrochar on Loch Long has been quickly arranged for tomorrow. The weather forecast is one of warm sunshine and a clear blue sky. The joy of writing.

My thanks to the staff and pupils for the warm reception I received on my recent visit. To talk about my novels is a joy, however, a scenic location elevates the experience.

Plockton Library, Plockton – Thursday, 5 September at 6pm. A talk on The Time Jigsaw Series, Q&A session and book-signing.
Plockton High School – Friday, 6 September at 10am. Writing fantasy and historical fiction novels – research, formulation of plots and building characters.

Annan Library, Annan – Monday, 23 September at 2pm. Meet The Author. (Signed copies of the latest book, Awakening)

Nairn Library, Nairn – Thursday, 3 October at 5.45pm. A talk on how the book series began and why the Highlands play an important role in each story. Also, why Nairn featured in the first book, The Time Jigsaw.

Forthcoming author talk on The Time Jigsaw series at the village library – Friday, 24th May at 10.30pm. This will include a Q&A session, plus the opportunity to obtain a signed copy of Awakening.

Final scenes of the forthcoming WW2 espionage thriller, Georgina, take place in and around Mallaig. Loch Morar being one of them.
